CAN GLYPHOSATE AFFECT YOUR HEALTH AND WHAT CAN HOMEOPATHY DO ABOUT IT?
I have been seeing patients with “weird” auto-immune conditions lately. When I say “weird”, I mean chronic physical symptoms that doctors cannot explain, no matter how many tests, scans and medication, nobody can make head or tail of it.
Symptoms like: sudden skin rashes, chronic migraines, pins and needles all over the body, blurred vision, intolerance to medication….Doctors went as far as diagnosing an auto-immune condition, but couldn’t give it a name and left the patients more confused and miserable than ever.

It occurred to me that what all these people have in common is that they all live in rural areas. “Beautiful!” you will say and I agree! Lovely fields, peace, nature, space…pesticides…
There has been a lot of talk about Roundup and whether it is dangerous or not for our health. Those who have been paying attention, know that the glyphosate contained in this particular pesticide (which seems to be used all over the world) is not exactly good for our health. However, I was really surprised and frustrated to find so many websites stating how “harmless” this pesticide is! It takes a while to find some proper research (meaning: not paid for by the industry that sells pesticides!) about the subject.
In fact, glyphosate is now linked to the following conditions:
- Autism
- Autoimmune conditions
- Cancer
- Parkinson’s
- Alzheimer’s disease
- Inflammatory bowel diseases (Crohn’s and Ulcerative Colitis)
- Cardiovascular disease
- Depression
- Infertility
Glyphosate is toxic to many of our beneficial gut microbes. It may preferentially kill off species, like lactobacillus while leaving potential pathogens, like clostridia to run wild. Glyphosate also chelates essential minerals, such as manganese, iron, cobalt, molybdenum, and copper so that the gut microbes do not have access to them. This leads to inflammation in the gut as well as increased intestinal permeability (leaky gut), which is at the core of many chronic illnesses, including inflammatory bowel disease, depression, and autoimmunity.

-constant pain in limbs
-worse around menses (endometriosis was diagnosed)
Tests, scans, MRI gave no results, except ruling out obvious conditions and the doctors were at a loss. This girl had stoppepd living, as the pain and tunnel vision prevented her from going about her normal teenage life.
Funnily enough, misterious auto-immune conditions ran in the family, with various symptoms.
