HOMEOPATHY FOR BEREAVEMENT

HOMEOPATHY FOR CASES OF BEREAVEMENT AFTER SUICIDE

According to NHS Scotland, where I live, suicide is a big issue. This is why I was happy to get involved in a pilot project organised by the NHS, to help with prevention and support families who experienced this terrible berievement. It was very encouraging to see the role of homeopathy and other holistic modalities recognised.

HOW DOES HOMEOPATHY HELP WITH BEREAVEMENT?

In my experience, often patients come to me with physical symptoms, like skin issues, insomnia, allergies that suddenly appeared and do not seem to have any rhyme or reason.

Then, during consultation, the issue of bereavement and the loss of a loved one due to suicide is mentioned, yet the patient is convinced they had already dealt with it through counselling and psychotherapy.

TAKING A CLOSER LOOK

Homeopathy digs deeper. We ask questions, we probe. It often turns out that all the grief and emotions are barely kept at bay and have not been fully processed yet.

WHY HOMEOPATHY WORKS BETTER THAN OTHER THERAPIES

This is simply what I have observed, I don’t mean to brag or toot my own horn necessarily. I have had patients who spent years in therapy and still could not reach resolution or closure and still had physical and emotional symptoms that affected their lives.

Homeoapathy was able to help in a few sessions. Why? Because homeopathy works from within and it works with the patient, without numbing, without suppressing. On the contrary: homeopathy works with the emotions and grief, helping the process and restoring balance.
